Novaco NB+ overview

NB+ is a versatile web-based management portal that can be used on the bridge or in the management office. The Internet-based alternative to NovacoBridge, it puts everything you need in one place – the cloud.

NB+ offers:

The web platform has been designed with simplicity in mind, but should you require assistance, a full graphical help section is built-in, or simply contact our industry leading customer service desk.

Plot, import and export routes with NB+

Within NB+ users can plot way points or import route files to quickly determine which charts and/or publications are required for the proposed voyage. Users can import ECDIS routes which have been exported in standard or many ECDIS specific formats into NB+.

Routes plotted within NB+ can also be exported to share with other users or to use on the ECDIS. This greatly aids administration teams looking after multiple vessels operating on common routes.

Select, buy and maintain charts with Novaco NB+

NB+ gives you the ability to closely manage and automate the process of selecting, buying and updating charts and publications. Whether these are digital or paper, NB+ puts you in control of every vessel in the fleet.

ADMIRALTY & 3rd party products

The NB+ portal supports the ADMIRALTY Vector Chart Service (AVCS), ADMIRALTY Information Overlay (AIO), ADMIRALTY Digital Publications (ADP) & ADMIRALTY electronic Nautical Publications (AeNP) as well as IMO and miscellaneous third party eBook publishers.

Also select ePublications from the likes of Brown Son and Ferguson, GAStech, IMO, ITU, Intertanko, OCIMF, SIGTTO and many more.

Paper products also supported.

Graphical visibility of charts

To simplify the user’s understanding of holdings and expiration dates, NB+ displays AVCS, ADP & AeNP holdings graphically on a map, colour coded according to status, providing “at a glance” reporting. This includes paper charts and maps.

Optimised baskets

NB+ optimises the basket selection using complex algorithms for each point on the route. This approach ensures maximum coverage and the smallest number of selected charts. NB+ will compare all required items with any items already available on board, detailing any missing required items in a shopping basket.
